He transferred to San Jose State to finish his BA in philosophy and continued at San Jose State for the MA, which he received (also in philosophy) in May 2006. Phil’s research interests in philosophy include topics in
phenomenology and existentialism, philosophy of religion, and
ancient Greek philosophy. Outside of his academic interests,
Phil enjoys painting (watercolor and oils), woodworking, camping
