Nancy, Everett, and Phyllis Ward Washington DC Internship

The Everett, Nancy, and Phyllis Ward Washington DC Internship is administered by the
Political Science Department to create congressional internship opportunities for
two students to spend a summer in Washington, DC. The summer stipend of $4,000 helps
pay for housing, travel, and living expenses. Applications are due in the Political
Science Department office, Clark Hall 471.
Scholarships (for housing and travel) are awarded to political science majors only; graduating seniors may apply. Students may also earn up to 4 units of academic credit.

Applicants should submit the following:
- An essay on why you want to intern with Congress
- A graded paper from one of your classes (min. 3 pages)
- Two SJSU Faculty References (letters are not required)
