The Political Science convocation takes place at the end of the spring semester and includes both the B.A. and MPA graduates.
In order to participate in the department convocation you must have filed for graduation in either the summer, fall, or spring of the current academic year. If you are planning to graduate in the summer or fall of the next academic year and would like to participate in the ceremony you will need to seek approval of the Dept. Chair.

Ex: In order to participate in the Spring 2012 dept. graduation ceremony you would need to have filed for graduation for one of the following semesters: Summer 11, Fall 11, or Spring 12. If you are graduating in Summer 12 or Fall 12 you will need to seek the chair's approval to participate in the Spring 12 cemeony.
