A Day at the Capitol
Trip will be held on Tuesday, April 17th 2012!
- seats are given on a first-come-first-served basis!
On Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 the Department of Political Science will sponsor its annual daylong bus trip to the State Capitol in Sacramento. Assembly members will act as our official hosts of the trip.
Highlights of the trip will include:
- A tour of the Capitol building
- Meetings with legislators, lobbyists, media representatives, and SJSU interns
- Attend committee hearings
- Visit historic buildings and museums or walk around Old Sacramento
Cost for the bus trip is $20 per person with the remaining portion subsidized by the Department of Political Science. The cost for the trip must be paid at the time you sign up. We currently only accept cash (excat change please) or checks (made payable to: SJSU Foundation).
Money is Non-refundable - please be sure you are able to go on this trip before signing up - No exceptions!
