Dr. Peter Haas teaches in a variety of areas in Political Science with a primary specialization in Public Administration, but also including several subfields such as Urban Politics and Public Policy. He shares an interest with several colleagues in the subject of films and politics. Within the field of Public Administration, he is most active as a teacher and scholar in the areas of Policy Analysis and Program Evaluation. He recently published a co-authored textbook on Policy Research. He has also written a number of journal articles, including several in the area of urban politics and has frequently served as a consultant to various state , local and nonprofit agencies. Prof. Haas lives in downtown San Jose and enjoys the Sharks and Camera Cinemas.
