Les Francis Scholarship for Civic Education
Award amount: $2,500
Les Francis Scholarship for Civic Education was created by Les Francis and endowed by Mr. Francis and his many friends, admirers, and fellow political consultants. The scholarship is intended to support prospective (or current) teachers of high school civics. Applicants must submit the Common Spring Application (located below), an essay stating how the scholarship would assist their career in teaching high school civics, a writing sample (at least 3 pages in length), and an unofficial college academic transcript.
Awarded annually.
