Vice President of Administrative Finance Search

Dear Campus Community,

I'm pleased to announce that, after consulting with incoming president Mohammad Qayoumi, I have selected Shawn Bibb to serve as vice president for administration and finance. He will join San Jose State effective August 1, 2011.

Shawn’s extensive experience within the CSU will serve him well in this role. He worked at San Jose State for 19 years in various finance and administration areas, including as associate vice president for administrative systems and finance. In 2007 he joined California State University, East Bay, as CFO and vice president for administration and finance. Before coming to the CSU system, Shawn worked in the Office of the Comptroller for the Texas A&M University system, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting.
