SJSU Mail Services

President Whitmore recently spent an hour buzzing around campus with the SJSU Mail Services crew. Manager Dan Soriano gave the president a tour of the mailroom, and showed him his box, which is the same size as everyone else's box!

The president also helped sort the mail before heading out in an orange truck for the afternoon run with warehouse worker Joel Crowley.

The pair picked up mail all over campus, where the president bumped into the SJSU men's basketball coaching staff.

The president also picked up mail from the Ira F. Brilliant Center for Beethoven Studies as well as the The Martha Heasley Cox Center for Steinbeck Studies, which are neighbors within the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library. Soriano estimates up to 2.5 million letters and packages pass through his warehouse annually.
