Subject: Defeat of Proposition 9

The defeat of Proposition 9 in yesterday's election means that we will not have to implement the emergency procedures we had set in place. By this memorandum. I am requesting that all of the analysis of the impact of cuts of varying magnitude that was done by the departments of our University be returned to those departments. I would request that you not keep a copy for the file.
