Subject: Salary Increases

It is a pleasure to be able to inform you of favorable action by the CSUC Board of Trustees with respect to salary increases. At the July 8, 1981, meeting, the Board adopted the following resolution with regard to the Academic Salary Group:

Resolved, By the Board of Trustees of The California State University and Colleges that, subject to certification by the Department of Finance of the availability of funds for this purpose, a general across-the-board salary increase of approxi?mately 6% (the precise amount to be shown on the Salary Schedule of The California State University and Colleges) is authorized for the academic salary group of The California State University and Colleges, effective July 1, 1981, and be it further

Resolved, That the Board authorize an $85 per month salary increase for all full-time academic employees who are on a salary step of $1,417 or less in an established salary range of a California State University and Colleges academic class; and be it further

Resolved, that the Board direct the staff to develop the necessary plans and procedures to implement the appropriate dental plans, effective January 1, 1982.

The Board also adopted the followingresolution with regard to Administrative, Support Staff and other classes:
