Meeting Room Guidelines

Scheduling & Availability

Hours: Available M-F from 8:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
*Unless prior arrangements have been made

Please Note:
The Office of the Provost has priority for Adm 167 conference room, even if there is a scheduled meeting. In the event of moving a scheduled meeting, our staff will assist in locating another site.

Reservation Requests

Email your request to provost@sjsu.edu. Please allow at least 1 business day for a response. You must include the following information in your email request:

Catering & Clean-up

Requestor is responsible for making arrangements for catering, overseeing setup and clearing of catering. When making room reservation, please be sure to include additional time for Spartan catering to setup and cleanup.

Requestor is responsible for clean up of all food, paper, etc.  Please show consideration for the next group and clean up after your meeting.

A/V or Technology Support

The Office of the Provost does not provide assistance for the A/V projector, or internet in the meeting rooms.

Please arrange technical support, if needed, a minimum of 24 hours prior to the meeting.

For A/V support, please contact Media Services at 4-2888.

For internet access support in Administration Rm. 167, please review the ADM 167 Network Connection Information (pdf), which provides instructions on connecting a laptop.

To request further information about internet access or to schedule a technician to assist you, send an email to help@help.sjsu.edu . In the body of the message, please include your name, phone number, and preferred email address to contact you. If you have already reserved ADM 167 or Clark Hall 412 for a meeting, and are requesting support, include the date and time of the meeting. A technician will contact you to answer your questions and/or schedule an appointment.
