26th Annual Psychology Convocation Ceremony

This event was created for students, faculty, family, and friends to acknowledge and
celebrate the hard work and determination required to complete an academic program.
All Psychology Undergraduate and Master’s Candidates graduating in December 2015,
May 2016, or August 2016 are welcomed.

May 2nd was the last day to register, no more submission will be accepted.
If you missed the deadline, you may still attend the Convocation. Your name will still be announced and you can walk the stage, but your name or statement won't appear in the program. Please see the following guidelines.
Tickets for your family, friends, and guests are $10 and will be sold at the Event
Center Box office (near 7th and San Salvador Streets) beginning April 6, 2016 and
on the day of the event. Children 5 and under are free, graduates do not need a ticket.
Box office hours: Mon.-Fri. 10am-5pm; Sat. 10am-12pm
Payment method: cash, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
Sorry no phone, fax, or online sales.
Parking is free at all SJSU lots the entire day.
Please arrive at 2:00 p.m. for additional instructions, group photographs, and a practice walk through. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at approximately 6:00 p.m. Arrive in your regalia and keep your personal items to a minimum. No guests will be allowed in at this time.
The Event Center doors will open at approximately 3:30 p.m. for all family and guests, please do not enter until then. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm.
Please note: balloons and air horns will not be allowed in the venue.
Wheelchair accommodations are accessible through the ground level entrance. Other special needs requests can be made in advance, please contact the Event Center at: firstname.lastname@example.org or (408) 924-6360.
Directly following the convocation, we will host a reception outside of the Student Wellness Center directly across from the Event Center. Light refreshments will be served.PHOTOGRAPHY
GradImages Photography will be available on the day of the convocation. All participants will be asked to fill out an index card with your name (written, as well as phonetically for proper pronunciation), your address, and email so the photographer may send proofs and ordering information.

Post Graduation: Graduates at San Jose State University can locate their graduation photos online by visiting http://www.gradimages.com/sanjosestateuniversity. The following two pieces of information are required to access their account: 1/Last Name 2/Event Year.

live for any family or friends unable to attend the ceremony.
