Important Notice
Temporary Closing of the MS in Clinical Psychology Program

There will be no applications available in 2011 for a class entering the MS Clinical Psychology program at SJSU in August, 2012.

Due to severe budget restrictions that have befallen the CSU system and San Jose State University in combination with a recent increase in the number of units required to earn a degree leading to MFT or LPCC licensure, the MS in Clinical Psychology graduate program has been closed for applications for Fall, 2012 The program will not accept any applications as of February of 2011.

This suspension will likely last for at least two years, but interested applicants are encouraged to check the website for updates about this process. The status of the program will be reassessed to determine whether it will reopen as an LPCC program for Fall, 2014 or later.

Please note, this does not affect the status of the MA in Experimental Psychology or MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology graduate programs.
