Applying to the Experimental Program

To be eligible, you must...

  • Meet the University Graduate Studies admissions requirements ( Details).
  • Have the equivalent of a U.S. baccalaureate degree and a minimum of 30 semester units in psychology.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 semester units (90 quarter units) of all college and/or university coursework.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all college and/or university psychology courses.

What you need to do..

Complete and submit the following material directly to the Psychology Department:

  1. Departmental Application Packet [.pdf]

    Application
    Statement of Academic & Research Intentions
    Three (3) Letters of Recommendation 

  2. Psychology GPA Worksheet
NOTE: Transcripts SHOULD NOT be submitted to the department. Also, International students must have their foreign transcripts professionally evaluated and submitted to the department
