Proposal Submission Timeline
Investigators are strongly urged to allot ample time for a detailed proposal review (full review) and the required routing prior to submission. A full review includes review by required university personnel—chair, dean, VP for Administration and Finance, and the AVP for Research. The Proposal Submission Timeline Chart identifies steps in the submission process, and is intended to help ensure timely and successful proposal submissions.
The timeline applies to the following:
- All extramural proposals (including proposals for sub-awards) for which there is a
- Letters of Intent, (NIH Example)
- White papers, (NSF Example)
- Other pre-proposal submissions that contain or propose institutional commitments, including budgets or cost share to which SJSU/SJSURF will be expected to adhere.
