Use of RSS Feeds

RSS is a free service offered by San José State University to individuals for private, non-commercial use. RSS (really simple syndication) service is a means by which San José State University offers content in XML format ("RSS Content") to visitors to its Web site (www.sjsu.edu) who use RSS aggregators. The Terms of Use below govern your use of the RSS service.

Terms of Use

Please read and review the following terms of use agreement carefully before using the RSS feed.

By accessing this service, you will now receive Web site updates through an RSS reader provided by a third party. By clicking on either the link or the "XML" button, you agree to the following Terms of Use Agreement for the RSS feed. If you do not agree, please exit and disregard the information contained herein.

  • San José State University retains any ownership and other rights in the RSS Content.
  • You shall not modify the feeds in any way, including the associated attribution to San José State University.
  • The placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS content is strictly prohibited.
  • San José State University reserves the right to suspend or terminate this service at any time.

Feed Requirements

  • Must be from a SJSU college, department, program, or organization used for formal SJSU communications or from a SJSU faculty used for academic or research purposes. Feeds that are personal in nature (ie. personal journals/blogs) will not be included on the RSS feeds page.
