SJSU Salzburg Scholars | Application
We are inviting applications from interested students to serve as Salzburg Scholars during 2017-2018. This is a significant opportunity to broaden your awareness of critical global issues and strengthen your ability to succeed in a complex interconnected world.
These Salzburg Scholars will enroll in a Faculty-Led Program (FLP) on Global Citizenship in Salzburg, Austria next summer (June 11-26, 2017) - a UN World Heritage Site located in the heart of Europe at the foot of the Austrian Alps. The FLP includes a 1-week seminar held at Schloß Leopoldskron, with students from other US colleges and universities, followed by an additional week exploring historical and cultural aspects of the region. After their return to campus, the Scholars will develop and implement a project during the academic year to help globalize San José State University.
We expect to select 12-15 Salzburg Scholars for 2017-2018. Online applications are due no later than Sunday,November 13, 2016 @ 11:59 PM.
