The single most important part of pre-service teacher preparation is student teaching. We believe that a rich field experience, where candidates can learn to examine and refine their teaching, is the direct result of building thoughtful and lasting partnerships with local schools and districts. We invite our local school partners to contact us for more information about professional development opportunities, support for mentor teachers, and grant projects that help us work together to prepare high quality teachers to enter the workforce. Current projects include the Yearlong Residency Program, the C0-Teaching Project, and our TRIO Project, a National Professional Development grant sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education.
