Candidates in the Single Subject Credential Program are expected to demonstrate commitment to their professional preparation. The Professional Dispositions [pdf] are observed throughout the program, in both classes and field experiences. Through coursework and field experiences, candidates develop their abilities to be effective teachers. The Teaching Performance Expectations [pdf] (TPE) indicate the types of skills/ practices that the Single Subject Credential Candidates will be able to demonstrate before they complete the program. In addition, candidates will demonstrate their ability to use technology [pdf] appropriately to enhance teaching and learning.
