Expectations for Single Subject Candidates
Candidates in the Single Subject Credential Program are expected to demonstrate commitment to their professional preparation. The Professional Dispositions are observed throughout the program, in both classes and field experiences. Through coursework and field experiences, candidates develop their abilities to be effective teachers. The Teaching Performance Expectations (TPE) indicate the types of skills/ practices that the Single Subject Credential Candidates will be able to demonstrate before they complete the program.
