At its meeting of February 18, 2008, the Academic Senate passed the following Policy Recommendation presented by Senator Backer for the Organization and Government Committee.

Policy Recommendation

RESCINDING PRIOR ATHLETICS BOARD POLICIES

Resolved that F07-2 be amended to rescind F83-4 and F79-4.

Rationale:

In Fall 2007, the SJSU Academic Senate approved F07-2, Athletics Policy. After the policy was approved, the Academic Senate office determined that the original policy was F79-4 and that policy was amended by F83-4 and F87-7. The new Athletics Policy, F07-2, replaced F 87-7. This policy recommendation amends F07-2 to rescind F83-4 and F79-4.
