At its meeting of December 3, 2001, the Academic Senate passed the following Senate Management Recommendation presented by Ken Peter for the Executive Committee.

SENATE MANAGEMENT RESOLUTION

ENLARGING MEMBERSHIP OF THE

ACADEMIC INNOVATION MODEL (AIM) TASK FORCE

Revises SM-F01-1

Whereas, the General Unit includes faculty who will be eligible for the plan to be formulated by the AIM Task Force, and there are concerns unique to the General Unit that the Task Force should be aware of; and

Whereas, lecturers represent a significant part of the faculty and their voices should be heard; and

Whereas, departmental chairs will be integrally involved in implementing the plan ultimately formulated by the AIM Task Force; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, that the membership of the AIM Task Force be enlarged to include one representative from the General Unit, one additional departmental chair, and one lecturer as voting members, selected in the same manner as other members.
