At its meeting of September 27, 2004, the Academic Senate passed the following Senate Management Recommendation presented by Sally Veregge for the Organization and Government Committee.

SENATE MANAGEMENT RESOLUTION

CHANGE IN THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS AND STUDENTS COMMITTEE

WHEREAS, The International Programs and Students Committee needs the input of key staff and administrators who work with students pursuing study abroad and with study abroad programs, and

WHEREAS, The structure of international programs has changed in recent years, for example the recent establishment of Global Studies, IES and the restructuring of the Office of Admissions and Records to become Enrollment and Academic Services

RESOLVED, That the following changes be made to the membership of the International Programs and Students Committee:

Add:

• the Study Abroad Director as an ex-officio member
• the Director of Global Studies as an ex-officio member
• Change the name of the seat titled Foreign Student Advisor to Director of International Programs and Services

Rename the seat designated for Admissions and Records as the seat for the Associate Vice President of Enrollment and Academic Services or designee
