The Associate Vice Chair/Chair of Committee on Committees shall facilitate and encourage recruitment of faculty as candidates for the Senate and Senate committees, shall report Executive Committee proceedings to the Senate, and shall assist the Chair in the conduct of Senate meetings. 

The Associate Vice Chair also Chairs the Committee on Committees/Election Committee. 

Committee on Committees - Prepares nominations for operating committees and submits them to the Senate for its consideration. Coordinates charges and functions of Senate committees with the Organization and Government Committee. Acts as standing Election Committee.
