At its meeting of May 3, 1993, the Academic Senate approved the following Policy Recommendation presented by Theodore Norton for the Organization and Government Committee.

That By-Law 1 be amended as follows:

a. Add a new By-Law 1.9, to read

1.9 No write-in votes are permitted.

b. Renumber present paragraphs 1.9, 1.10, 1.11 and 1.12 as 1.10, 1.11, 1.12 and 1.13.
