At its meeting of May 8,1995, the Academic Senate approved the following Policy Recommendation presented by Chris Jochim for the Organization and Government Committee.

 

BY-LAW AMENDMENT
Whereas, The Senate has passed UP S95-3 (Lottery Committee), which, among other things, places the Lottery [Funds] Committee under the Budget Advisory Committee rather than under the Planning, Safety, and Finance Committee, a Senate policy committee, be it

Resolved,

That By-Law 14 be amended as follows:

The existing language becomes 14.1.

The following is added:

14.2 The Lottery Funds Committee shall be considered an operating committee responsible to the Budget Advisory Committee.
