At its meeting of May 6, 1996, the Academic Senate approved the following Policy Recommendation presented by Chris Jochim for the Organization and Government Committee.

Attached is a copy of Academic Senate Policy Recommendation S 96-13. This policy is accepted as University Policy effective May 30,1996.

AMENDMENT OF BY-LAW 1.1

Resolved:

That By-Law 1.1, paragraph (b), third sentence, be amended, as follows: The College of Social Work shall be represented on all Policy Committees, but shall be considered a part of the General Unit for purposes of membership on all other Senate Committees.
