Electronic Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities (Final

and Roberta Achtenberg to campus on February 7, 2007 for the Access to Excellence presentation. It
was also suggested that we invite Gary Reichardt to visit SJSU.
6. The Executive Committee discussed the reasons why the Retention-Tenure-Promotion (RTP) policy has not yet been approved. President Kassing was asked to amplify the memo he sent to Chair Hurley on November 30 so as to provide a more detailed explanation of the changes requested and to indicate which of the issues raised in the memo are questions of legality. Concerns were raised as to why these changes were not requested during the two years the Professional Standards Committee was working on the policy. The Executive committee discussed strategies to move forward constructively on the policy and to address process issues.
