Sport Club outside

The Sport Club Fitness Center consists of a weight room equipped with both free weights and LifeFitness machines, as well as squat racks, treadmills, and recumbent bikes. In addition to the weight room, we also have a cardio hall equipped with elliptical machines, rowing machines, recumbent bikes, and stair climbers. Our facility also has an aerobics room for fitness classes and a mini-gym for open basketball. Showers are available upon entry and lockers are available per semester for a fee (see Locker Room information).

The Sport Club Fitness Center is accessible for currently enrolled, matriculated San José State University students with a valid Tower ID card. SJSU faculty/staff, community members, and university affiliates may review our membership options.

Facility Reservations

Activity and meeting spaces within the Student Recreation Center are available for reservation. Information about reserving and/or renting space can be obtained by calling Spartan Recreation and the Sport Club at 408-924-6368. Facility Reservation Request Form

Once submitted, the Sport Club Scheduling & Event Management Team will review the facility request and determine available space. Facility availability and a preliminary estimate will be sent within 5 days of submitting the request.

**Please note that completing and submitting this request does not guarantee a reservation. All events must be contracted through Student Union, Inc at San José State University at least 2 weeks prior to the requested event date(s). Only upon final approval will a confirmation be issued to hold the event.

**Please note that cancellations and/or changes to reservation times must be communicated to the appropriate facility scheduler.
