The Spartans for Safety campaign began as an effort to better integrate violence prevention education at SJSU. For more than a year, the Spartans on Safety (SOS) coalition, comprised of students, staff, and faculty, have been meeting to identify best practices and resources for addressing violence education. Ultimately the coalition is committed to fostering a safer campus environment through education, collaboration and community empowerment.
