Do I have to meet with an advisor before being admitted?

If you have attended an orientation, then you do not need to meet with the coordinator of the program you selected, unless it is specified in your admission letter. You are required, however, to meet with your assigned advisor as soon as possible. Because of time demands, some of the advisors might choose the meetings to be online. Please check before coming to campus.

How do I know who is my advisor?

After your application is complete, you will receive a letter of admission from the Department with your advisor's name and contact information. However, if you want a headstart please visit the advisors page.

When do I sign up for student teaching?

Attention students, if you think that you are ready to do the required supervised experience in Fall 07, remember to come to the Special Education department to sign up and complete a practicum form. This is a first come, first serve, if you qualify.
