Registration

When do I register?

After your admission process is complete with the university, you receive a personal log in and pin number that you will use to register for courses. You can check when your registration date begins by logging into http://my.sjsu.edu. If this is your first semester and registration has already begun, then you should be able to register as soon as you receive your pin number. It is extremely important that you follow up with this or you could lose your opportunity to take a course you might need. When sections fill up the enrollment closes.

What happens if I miss the registration deadline?

Usually registration will close a few days before classes begin, then will reopen when classes begin. You will have a short time period where you can register late for a course and pay an additional late fee. After the last registration deadline, NO LATE ADDS will be permitted, even if you have been attending classes.

How much does it cost?

Fees are dependent on the number of units you take each semester. To get an approximate figure, please visit the Bursar's Office Website for the latest costs.

How do I Pay?

After you register, you should check within a week at www.mysjsu.edu to verify that you have been billed, and the amount you should pay. It is a good idea to print your schedule once you have paid fees and then when grades post.

What happens if I do not pay on time?

In cases of late payment, or failures in processing payment, you will be disenrolled, and could possibly lose your space in a class.
