Minor in Special Education
Students that are currently enrolled as an undergraduate at San Jose State University can choose to minor in Special Education. Please select one "track" or column from the table below that correlates with an Education Specialist Credential Program* offered in the Department of Special Education.

*Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree to apply for a credential program. Courses taken for the Minor in Special Education can be used towards an Education Specialist Credential Program.
In order to receive a minor in Special Education, you must declare your minor with the university and have it signed off by the department by filling out the following forms and turning them into their respective departments.
