How long do I have before I need to have subject matter competency?

You can be admitted into the program without subject matter competency, however, you have one year from the date of admission to complete subject matter competency, either by coursework or by examination. (See CSET)

How long are passing CSET scores valid?

Passing scores on CSET are valid for 5 years from the date of the test. Thus, you must complete the program of studies for Level I within that time frame, or you will have to retake the exam.
