Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Initiative

SERVING UNDERREPRESENTED POPULATIONS
The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Initiative is a CSU-wide effort to improve college access and graduation achievement for Asian American and Pacific Islander students from underserved communities.
Journey to Success Program
In 2011, the Initiative began hosting college fairs for AAPI families as part of a program called "Journey to Success." These events, held at CSU campuses, provide students and their families, as well as community and religious leaders, with information about college preparation, planning and financial aid.
SJSU will host its Journey to Success fair on November 3, 2012 in the Student Union Barrett Ballroom. We will be welcoming students and their families for a day of educational workshops covering the steps to prepare for college, complete the application process, enroll in classes and realize the goal of successfully graduating.
Discounted Parking will be available for this event: Park in the South Garage located at Seventh Street and San Salvador or the North Garage located at Tenth Street and San Fernando. When you go to the pay station to purchase your parking permit press the "More Options" button until you see "$2 AAPI FAIR PERMIT".
