Criteria for Nominations: Do you have a colleague within the Division of Student Affairs who you want to recognize for their frequent assistance, knowledge or expertise? The “You Make a Difference” award recognizes employees in outstanding day-to-day interactions and performance based on the following categories:
- Customer Service
- Helping a Peer
- Going the Extra Mile
- Information Expert
- Team Leader/Mentor
- Innovation/Change Agent
Awards will be announced on a monthly basis.
Criteria for Nominations: The Student Affairs Star Award recognizes employees who have provided outstanding customer service and performance over the course of a month or more. All staff members who are full-time or part-time employees, with a minimum of 6 months service within the Division of Student Affairs and meet at least two of the Division values are eligible for consideration. A staff member or manager may be nominated by another employee within the Division.
Awards will be announced on a quarterly basis:
Fall (September - November) - announced in December
Winter (December - February) - announced in March
Spring (March - May) - announced in June
Summer (June - August) - announced in September
Above and Beyond Awards
The Above & Beyond Awards recognize staff members' outstanding performance and contributions to students and the Division of Student Affairs. To be eligible for one of these awards, a recipient must embody the values of the division, as well as exhibit a high level of initiative, a commitment to teamwork and dedication to their job responsibilities. Additionally, recipients must demonstrate an attitude of excellence and go above and beyond the expectations of their job.
The 2018 award recipients will be recognized at the Above & Beyond Award Luncheon on TBD in the Student Union Ballroom.
Please consider nominating a worthy colleague or team of colleagues. The deadline for submitting nominations will be TBD at 11:59pm.
