If you feel that your life is falling apart and are depressed, we encourage you to come visit us in Counseling Services. Someone is on duty all day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the week (408-924-5910). For after-hours emergencies, please call the University Police (408-924-2222), or 911 if you are off campus. Otherwise, please call Santa Clara County Suicide & Crisis Line at 1-855-278-4204 (Toll-free; available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
The DRC provides high quality retention and academic support services for students with disabilities.
The A.S. General Service Center has information and applications for a dental and optical plan available to SJSU students and their dependents.
Have a legal problem? Sign up for free legal counseling in the A.S. General Service Center. A $10.00 deposit is required when booking an appointment, but is fully refundable after your 15-minute session.
A healthy mind, body, and spirit are vitally important to your learning process. Whether you're experiencing a simple cold, need to fill a prescription or would like tips on nutrition, the health center is ready to help and is conveniently located on campus in the Health Building near the Event Center. The center also provides wellness information for the SJSU community.
Counseling Services offers free short-term psychological counseling to individuals and couples who are enrolled San José State University students.

Students, staff, and faculty are all invited to join others at SJSU who are committed to creating a healthy community! Stop by our tables around campus, join a wellness committee, or attend one of the many workshops or events we put on each year.
Students: Become a Peer Health Educator or Nutrition Education Action Team member! These two leadership programs provide interested students with the opportunity for in-depth training on health topics, workshop facilitation, peer advising, and much more.
