Center for Accessible Technology (CAT)
Did you know the Accessible Education Center (AEC) is open all summer long?
The Center for Accessible Technology (CAT) is one of the largest adaptive computing centers in the country. The Center utilizes the latest in assistive technology software and hardware, with approximately thirty accessible stations and trained staff. The center is available to students of San Jose State University who are registered with the AEC.
Returning AEC students taking summer courses
Given the short time frame of summer classes returning AEC students can simply drop in with their course syllabi and meet with the first available counselor to set up their summer 2015 accommodations.
New to AEC?
No problem. Call our AEC mainline at 408-924-6000 to schedule an Intake appointment to determine eligibility to register for AEC services. Remember to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out your Intake and bring with you your disability documentation.
Don’t have any documentation? Don’t Worry. =) Have your treating professional fill out the appropriate AEC’s form that is specific to your disability.
New to AEC and SJSU?
Don’t worry we got you covered. Check out AEC Services-at-a Glance to learn more about AEC and the services offered.
