Enrollment Services: Vol 2; Issue 3
The Financial Aid and Scholarship Office welcomes you to the fall semester. It can be a busy and very exciting time of the year while you settle into your classes. Please be sure to take some time to review your financial aid status. We have started the process of disbursing financial aid towards outstanding fees for the fall term. Be sure to monitor your account during this time. Any remaining financial aid funds for the fall term will be sent to the student via check or direct deposit. Any remaining Parent PLUS loan funds will be sent directly to the parent borrower in the form of a check. Keep in mind that disbursements will only occur for students who have done the following:
- Applied for financial aid and submitted all requested "To Do List" items
- Received a financial aid and scholarship award
- Qualify for a grant or accepted a loan. New loan recipients will also need to sign their Master Promissory Note and complete Entrance Loan Counseling.
- Be enrolled in full time status or notify us if you plan on enrolling in less than full time status by submitting the Student Information Update Form http://www.sjsu.edu/faso/docs/SNFO17
- Have no financial aid holds.
Remember that any fees remaining will be due by September 14th unless otherwise noted on your account.
