Join the Office of Student Conduct & Ethical Development's Civility Program in a new initiative: No Place For Hate (NPFH) campaign! NPFH was first created by the Office of Residence Life at Syracuse University (SU) and aimed at raising awareness around issues of bias, discrimination, and disrespect, and educating students on the institution's appreciation and acceptance of all aspects of diversity, commitment to a clean and safe environment, and encouragement of freedom of expression.
Similar to the intention of the SU program in its mission to create experience for students that allow for their holistic growth into global citizen who contribute positively to their communities, the Office of Student Conduct & Ethical Development's Civility Program has been established to educate students about respect for oneself and others (i.e., faculty, staff, peers),reciprocity (i.e., treating others as we desire to be treated), and behaviors which create an enriching and positive learning and living environment where the free flow of ideas is encouraged and affirmed.
