Student Union Event Services
As the first stop for any department, organization or company looking to reserve space at San José State University, Event Services handles scheduling for almost every room, space, or field on campus. Event Services is committed to providing the best event planning assistance, from coordinating audio-visual needs, to finding the optimal place for events.
This roomy, flexible area is located on the upper level of the Diaz Compean Student Union. SJSU departments, student organizations, companies, and other groups frequently host large events in this space.
Also on the upper level of the Diaz Compean Student Union, the meeting rooms are ideal for smaller groups. These rooms are also flexible and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of your event.
This venue is found on the lower level of the Diaz Compean Student Union, complete with an outdoor courtyard area outside the box office. This space includes a stage and is great for performances, guest speakers, and lectures.
Many student organizations host fundraisers and outreach events on 7th Street Plaza, on the west end of the Diaz Compean Student Union. Gather interest for your group by renting a space along this busy walkway.
