Learn about Study Abroad—Attend one of the regular study abroad information sessions or stop by the Study Abroad office in CIES (Student Union Building) to talk with a Study Abroad Student Assistant.
Do your research— Find out what programs we have to offer and what the requirements
are for each location.
Meet with your academic (major/minor) advisor— Discuss your study abroad plans, including
the courses you plan to take abroad, with your academic advisor to make sure that
the courses will count toward your degree program.
Talk with a Student Assistant or a Study Abroad Coordinator — If you still have specific
questions about the study abroad process, you can make an appointment with a Study
Prepare and complete your application— Fill out the necessary documents, obtain the
required recommendations and transcripts, and secure your program payment.
After acceptance, attend the pre-departure program—This mandatory program will cover
essential pre-departure information including health and safety, culture, and academics
