Its excellent international communications, its Mediterranean climate and its cosmopolitan atmosphere make it a privileged city indeed. Barcelona is a city that is exciting for students and tourists alike. With a combination of Medieval architecture, urban development, tasty cafes, colorful markets, numerous shops, numerous museums and stunning parks, the city is a vibrant, cultural center ideal for those engaged in study as well as pleasure.

Toulouse Business School—Branch Campus

The TBS campus is located in the heart of Barcelona. All TBS campuses are located in economically and culturally dynamic cities and at the heart of Europe’s and the Mediterranean region’s technological innovation, value creation and quality of life. The Spanish campus is highly attractive due to its respective areas of economic influence, including South America. The newest facilities were installed in 2008 and hosts up to 500 Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students every year.

Eligibility Requirements

Students must:

  • have sophomore, junior or senior standing by the semester of departure,
  • be enrolled as an SJSU student for one semester prior to departure, or be a California community college student eligible to enter SJSU by the semester of departure,
  • have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

There is no language prerequisite, but students are strongly encouraged to take introductory Spanish prior to participation in the program.

Academic Program

The majority of courses offered at TBS-Barcelona are taught in English with some available in Spanish for those who qualify. The TBS philosophy across all of its campuses includes a commitment to teaching new landmarks versus old certainties. There is an active pedagogy within TBS that has the ambition of combining economic development, social responsibility and sustainable progress. Above all, students are guided towards a unique, fulfilling human experience which demands responsibility and the confidence to lead change. TBS is accredited with EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB (among a select group of less than 1% of business schools in the world).
