Operated by SJSU’s Department of Kinesiology in cooperation with the County of Santa Clara, the Timpany Center is an accessible physical activity and recreation center. Originally dedicated in September of 1979 in the memory of Dr. C. Russell Timpany, County Superintendent of Schools, the center was designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. Today, Timpany Center boasts a 100,000 gallon warm-water pool, spa, gymnasium, weight room, classroom, and research lab. |
