In the spring of 2009, the County of Santa Clara selected the Department of Kinesiology from the College and Applied Sciences and Arts at San José State University to take interim responsibility for operations at the Timpany Center. The facility underwent repairs in the summer of 2009. In Fall 2009, the Department of Kinesiology gained long-term responsibility for the overall operation and programming at the Timpany Center.

SJSU students in health-related studies work and volunteer at the Timpany Center. We are proud to offer a wide range of therapeutic and fitness programs at reasonable rates to our local community.
