AccreditationSan José State is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The accreditation process aids the institution in developing and sustaining effective educational programs and assures the educational community, the general public, and other organizations that SJSU has met high standards of quality and effectiveness. In addition to university-wide accreditation, individual programs are accredited by discipline-specific accreditation agencies such as the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology or the National Association of Schools of Music. |
