The Undergraduate Studies Committee reports to the Curriculum and Research Committee and

• reviews, coordinates, and assesses the undergraduate curriculum and its development;
• advises on policies relevant to undergraduate education;
• formulates or considers and makes recommendations on policy for awarding honors to undergraduate students; and
• reviews and makes recommendations on proposed departmental honors programs.
