A course is designated C1-C21, C77and C78 or S23, 24, 25, 36, or 48 to describe the mode of instruction (e.g., lecture, activity, laboratory, etc.), the number of students to be enrolled, and the Weighted Teaching Units (WTU) to be assigned to the instructor responsible for the course.
