1. Knowledge and skills in the use of basic concepts, tools and techniques of digital media to produce art works concept to finished product.
2. Knowledge and skill in the use of appropriate platforms and software, and means of presentation relevant to assigned project objectives and student intent.
3. An understanding of how digital media is used as a means of cultural production and the way in which artists influence concepts and strategies of social responsibility.

4. Thorough knowledge of visual history and criticism relevant to computing, information science, conceptual art and cultural theory.
