SJSU provides a number of useful resources to help guide students as they work toward achieving their goals.
- Advising Hub
- Students will want to contact their major advisors to discuss academic requirements.
- Academic Advising and Retention Services (AARS) provides advising for General Education, Undeclared Students, students requiring remediation, International Students and those on probation or disqualified.
- The College of Applied Sciences & Arts Advising Center provides advising services to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Applied Science & Arts in Mac Quarrie Hall, room 533.
- The Business Student Advising Center (BSAC) provides advising services to undergradate and graduate students in Business.
- The Engineering Student Success Center (ESSC) provides advising services to undergraduate students in Engineering.
- The College of Science Student Advising Center (COSAC) provides advising services to Science Majors and Minors.
- The Career Center provides students with the tools to guide them in making career-planning decisions and marketing their skills to employers.
- Counseling Services provides personal counseling, educational counseling and psychiatric services.
